Hi I'm Dear....or Mommy....or Hayley to most. Even my daughter calls me all of those. Yes, she has learned my name and is not afraid to use it. She also enjoys standing at the bottom the stairs screaming DEAR! to get my attention while I'm getting dressed for work in the morning. Yeah she's two (and don't ask me how many months because I can't do that kind of math in my head). And I love her to pieces.
I am a mother and a wife first. I love my husband, my best friend, of 5+ years. We have made a nice home in the city for our little family with our two cats.
I used to read all the time before having Norah. But as the pregnancy went on I got more and more tired and just could bring myself to pick up a book. Then after she was born I was obviously tired from lack of sleep and going back to work. In the last few months I have rekindled my love of reading. I have had a Kindle for over a year and have really been enjoying it now. I hope to post some discussions on the books I have read recently.
I also love makeup. I was always a tom boy growing up and wasn't really into makeup all that much. But in the last 4ish years I really started to branch out and find lots of things I like. I will probably post random things on here like: does this lipstick look ok on me? Or what looks better? Or something like that. I don't really know.
